One of the great song writers of my lifetime. If he had lived, I'm sure he would
have kept cranking out pop friendly tunes with great lyrics and a punk ethos for years.
Hendricks was an incredible musician but not a great songwriter--thus that song you heard him singing on the radio was not his. He was fortunate to be an artist during an era when it was easier and more acceptable among critics to put out covers.
