questions and you'll know if Die With Zero was written for you.
I think about men in my lives who penny pinch for everything. They get mad at their wives for spending on anything. Don't be that way. Be frugal and buy necessities most of the time but every now and then splurge on yourself, your wife, your kids.
I love the idea of giving my kids things when it means more to them (when they're broke). I love the idea of giving as much to charity as I can while I'm alive. And I love the idea of really enjoying people and memories while I'm alive vs enjoying gobs of money when I can't enjoy it anymore.
That was my big takeaway. Enjoy the money while you're healthy. And when you'll be able to witness the fruits of your giving. It means more to give when you're alive than when your dead and don't need it anymore.
