I really don't want to give you Pope-haters more fuel for the burning, but I do sense some vindictiveness going on right now by a guy who suddenly has all the recruiting doors open to him.

As for our current players — it certainly SEEMS like the water in our well has been poisoned over the course of the last week. Our kids seem to be influenced to do things in a cutthroat way — that I kinda doubt woulda happened had things run the status quo of a couple weeks ago.

I love Pope too much to hate on him for what I'm sensing. But the stink of the rat is a bit undeniable.

And maybe our boyz in the Athletic Dept are in fact getting their just desserts.

Regardless, I know what my school is — & I'm excited to start this new chapter with coach Young. But I'm also gonna be bummed if Dallin & Richie ain't a part of us moving forward.
