Carpooling on a 7 hour drive with people I just met. The driver is cruising at 65 in the 80 zone. His digital dashboard
even displays the speed limit sign of 80 right next to his digital speedometer. His GPS had us arriving at 7:19 when we left, but we're going so slow it now says 7:49. I have never met anyone in the car before today, so not comfortable enough to say something. Then again, the speed limit sign is RIGHT THERE on his dash RIGHT NEXT to the speedometer that says he's going 65! We're getting passed by everyone. Oh boy, this may be a long ride...not just physically, but me just biting my tongue. His speedometer hasn't change once since we left, been 65 the entire time.

This reminded me of my BIL. He had cerebral fat embolism syndrome after breaking his femur and tib/fib in a dirt bike (RootieBoy, Apr 28, 2024 at 3:19pm)

Nah, if they’re going that much slower, they’re being unsafe. If you don’t want to drive that fast, don’t drive
