that is amazing with early childhood mental health. You are right they do provide better treatment than most LCSW, MFT, therapists because they are highly specialized. They also have long waitlists.

Where I live the vast majority of clinical psychologists are doing testing and not therapy but they certainly can if they want. I actually really respect the ones who do because they are leaving money on the table to provide therapy they are passionate about.
