Depends a lot on range and whether you can charge while at work. The other thing
to look at is the cost differential between the plug in and a regular hybrid or just straight ICE. My experience when looking at plug ins was that (at least for the ones I looked at) the fuel savings would probably never cover the cost differential. From a purely financial standpoint, it would never pencil for me.
