We love our PHEV. However, it mostly gets used just around town. My wife
uses it to get the kids to school, their dance classes, grocery shopping, etc.
She maybe goes more than the 30 miles electric only range twice a month.
To have that huge battery and go electric only for less than one trip to work (not even the round-trip)? I don't think so.
Unless, like others have pointed out, you get to charge for free at work. Then you're basically electric only.
