They grew up in Southern California always at the beach, didn’t really use sunscreen. They moved to Utah and started tanning. Now that they’ve been diagnosed they are good about sunscreen and have switched to spray tans.

I’m 31 and haven’t had issues but I need to be very careful with my genetic history. Especially since I didn’t wear sunscreen much as a kid.

We all tan pretty easily and don’t have super fair skin. My dad (parent who had melanoma) and I have very dark hair and dark eyes.
