I found out I can view the actual run history online, in 5 min intervals. For yesterday (midnight to midnight), you can see the change in "Desired cool temperature" around 6 am. Looks like the AC spent a lot of time running, and my efforts at pre-cooling only resulted in a short 3-hr break (about 6-9am) before it was back to work trying to pump heat out of the house. 😕
