to agree with it, but I happen to think loyalty is important. I try to cultivate a good relationship with them so they'll open up, I may not really believe them, but I'm not going to blatantly disbelieve them (without evidence) if they persist in dishonesty. In my mind, that's nourishing a relationship and they'll have to mend that bridge and regain my trust when the truth comes out. Additionally, as honorable as I'd like to believe teachers and school administrators are, sometimes they might lie too and I suspect oftentimes they don't know the whole story.
