Is it terrible for her to not have a relaxed day?
Not to go old school on you, but my grandpa was a man that I truly respected and by the time he was in third grade he was basically working full time on the family farm before and after school.
I'm obviously not an expert but I don't know if not having a relaxed day is the worst thing for a child. I would say that most parents in this generation would be more likely to coddle their child than to demand too much of their child.
