I was laid off and out of work for 5 months.

I took a job at a huge salary reduction, I tried to negotiate a higher wage at offer time, just to keep the lights on.

Two months later, I got an offer at a more appropriate rate......I totally jumped ship.

If that's entitlement, then I am entitled.

Unfortunately most companies are not loyal and think of only the bottom line. I have the same mode of thinking, look out for my family first.

You are lucky they gave two weeks.
