I don't see it. 5 is their ceiling, and 4 is easily possible.
They trade us out for Michigan. Even though we are almost always favored, Whittingham does well in that game. That's 1 less win, unless they pull a big upset.
They needed upsets over BYU and Stanford to get to 5 last year. This season, they play 5 PAC-12 road games and only 4 at home, and they trade a winnable game against BYU for a much more difficult game @ Michigan. How many PAC-12 road games have they won the last 3 seasons? 4 total? Maybe?
4-8 to 5-7 is where they will end up, for the 3rd year in a row.
