RE: My humble opinion is that they will beat
I don't think they have a horrible team but I can't see them winning more games than they did last year for the following reasons ...

1. More conference road games this year. Last year they had 5 home and 4 road. This year it's reversed with USC and Oregon being two of the home games.

2. They replaced 2 of their wins last year with Fresno St at home (not a pushover) and Michigan on the road. Michigan returns 15 starters from a pretty good team last year. It's unlikely utah will win that game.

3. utah's QB ... the position is a mess right now. They may or may not have Wynn healthy enough to play and even if he is, do they have the confidence to go with him. If they don't, they're starting a RS freshman or a transfer that isn't even on campus yet. Also, their LB's are a mess right now too with all of the injuries they've sustained.

4. Coaching staff ... jumbling up your entire offensive coaching staff and offensive scheme is not the way to make an immediate impact for the better.

Bottom line is that utah's schedule is just too difficult for the team they have. It's harder than last year's schedule and this year's team is probably not quite as good as last year's. I can't point to one position group that will be better.
