I will try to think like a BYU fan for a moment. Would it be possible for BYU to win 8 games (including a bowl win) with Utah's schedule? Of course. A ton of things would have to go well in order for that to happen (Taysom's health, etc).

So...if Utah is good enough to beat BYU 4 times in a row (and BYU could win 8 games with Utah's schedule), maybe the Utes are good enough to have an outside shot at 8 wins this year. If a fball fan is not optimistic at this time of the year, they might as well find a new interest/hobby.
