09/13/14 vs. Southern Miss Tuscaloosa, Ala. 5:00 p.m. CT
09/20/14 vs. Florida * Tuscaloosa, Ala. TBA
10/04/14 at Ole Miss * Oxford, Mississippi TBA
10/11/14 at Arkansas * Fayetteville, Arkansas TBA
10/18/14 vs. Texas A&M * Tuscaloosa, Ala. TBA
10/25/14 at Tennessee * Knoxville, Tenn. TBA
11/08/14 at LSU * Baton Rouge, Louisiana TBA
11/15/14 vs. Mississippi State * Tuscaloosa, Ala. TBA
11/22/14 vs. Western Carolina Tuscaloosa, Ala. TBA
11/29/14 vs. Auburn * Tuscaloosa, Ala. TBA
THEN Add the CCG vs South Carolina or Georgia or someone else that WILL have a great year and WILL be a top 10 team

OU Schedule:
vs Louisiana Tech
@ Tulsa
vs Tennessee
@ West Virginia
@ TCU
vs Texas* (Dallas)
vs Kansas State
@ Iowa State
vs Baylor
@ Texas Tech
vs Kansas
vs Oklahoma State

So where's the challenging road game on OU's schedule? Stoops touts UT as a tough OOC game, but that is a home game in Norman. Bama playing in Knoxville, TN is one of the easier games on the Tide's schedule.

Macaroni's right in that KSU started and perfected the model, but since they lost the possibility of a CCG they are adding a tougher game in there to try to beef up the schedule ... they are playing Auburn earlier in the year. WV is playing Bama at a neutral site. So yes, they are boosting their OOC by one tough game, but isn't that also boosting the difficulty of the opposing Conference's schedule too? Do Bama and Auburn get credit for leaving their home stadiums and playing teams like WV and KSU?

The opening week for Big 12 teams this year include the following opponents: Alabama, Florida State (those two are tough ... but the remaining 7 are patsies), North Dakota, Stephen F Austin, LaTech, Samford, Central Arkansas, SMU, North Texas. I don't see that as any tougher than the average OOC schedule for the other average P5 conferences.
