As Usual, You Make Up Arguments Out Of Whole Cloth
I never said the Big 12 is better. I just pointed out that two teams who hadn't enjoyed a whole lot of recent success in the Big 12 have done quite well in the SEC, certainly better than most would have predicted. Contrast that to the experience of Utah and their move.

I think the bottom of the SEC is not much different from the bottom of the Big 12. The SEC has some great teams at the top. As a whole though, they generally don't travel, mostly play mediocre teams ooc, and usually have 7-8 home games. All of these things will inflate your conference's number of wins.

For example, at random, I looked at the Commodores schedule this year. Their out of conference schedule has them hosting Temple, Umass, Charleston Southern, and Old Dominion. This gives them 8 home game. I'll wager right now they'll be favored in each of these games. If they do, and then can get two conference wins (UK, Miss. St.?) they can go bowling.
