I do not believe this

Not saying you are not telling the truth, but when I was at BYU, I knew a couple of the kickers and they got to choose which ball they used. The QB's chose the ball they used in games and the kickers used different balls.

I think this is an excuse for weak legs. I have seen high school kickers kick it farther.

No he's not. Time the kicks. A Lot of height in college is 4.5 seconds plus.
