what will hurt for longer though? 2 more years of Bronco, in which we know what we get (somewhere between mediocre and good), or a new coach who is completely untested and unproven? because the coach we'll get if we fire Bronco will not be tested, known, or proven. could it work out? it might, but i don't think the odds are favorable.
I'm as disappointed as anyone that these definitive years of independence, in the changing landscape of college football haven't been better, but let's stack the cards as favorably as possible for the future, i.e., get the best coach available, not the only coach that will take the job.
