I think some unique variables make the "trend" argument a little more murky.

BYU has never played an independent schedule before 2011, so it's tough to work out how to adjust for that.

Overall, I still think trying to use W/L percentages to make a case against Bronco is a losing effort.

Best to focus on other things, IMO. Much stronger cases to be made in more qualitative areas.
