I recognize I'm not an expert but I do know enough to recognize that the team doesn't seem to be improving like other programs that have made the right hires (like Ole Miss).
I think this is the conversation that TH and others should be having about the situation (and maybe they are). What really bothers me is that the team/coaches seem to make mistakes that programs at a higher level don't. Whether it's coaching hire mistakes, recruiting evaluation mistakes, player capability mistakes, on-field mistakes, etc. Bronco has been a Head Coach for 10 years now. The mistakes should have worked their way out by now. On field mistakes should be going away but you see penalties like the off-sides on a kickoff (how many have they had this year?) that are outward symptoms of problems with the program that Bronco is the head of. Decisions like having injured players continue to play. Hires of brand new coaches with little experience in key positions. Losing to 3 inferior teams in a row (I know injuries have played a part and you can always have a clunker when it shouldn't happen...but the last three games were embarrassing).
Why do you feel satisfied with status quo?
