"Hiring of assistants with little or no experience"
The problem with that comment is... if you fire Bronco, that is exactly who you are going to get as a head coach. BYU isn't a job that the majority of coaches in the NCAA want to have, there is a ton of baggage with the position at BYU. The job search will go very much like the last one and BYU will end up with an unproven commodity. That may turn out good, it may turn out disastrous. Yes there are issues with the team, but you will find issues with every team out there. The question needs to be are we willing to gamble away a solid coach in the minuscule chance he can get one or two more wins a year? With the limitations BYU has they will never have the athletes to go undefeated on a consistent basis, they never have, and to have an expectation of 12-0 or 11-1 seasons consistently is completely unrealistic.

Thank you for acknowledging that injuries are part of the reason for the past 3 games. BYU has lost their most talented and gifted players in every aspect of the game. You don't lose athletes like Hill, Williams, Fua, Bills, Hine and others without feeling it. There are going to be growing pains as the team tries to find it's new identity. The coaches need to evaluate and adjust how they manage the team and the players have to focus and quit brain-farting at critical points of the game.
