feel better to take some action, any action, to calm the fear and anxiety. Unless its an upgrade, at least as much as can be determined by resume/experience, it's likely to be a "be careful what you wish for" situation.
I'm in full agreement, BM has shown poor judgment that has led to mistakes being repeated. Almost seems like a stubborn badge of honor, that he's dug in and determined not to give naysayers the satisfaction. Combine that w RA showing some of the same tendencies. At some point, determined sticking to your guns crosses over into banging your head against a wall of your own making, and expecting a better result. Mixed metaphor, probably. But its enough to result in chronic underperforming and a whole lot of what coulda/shoulda been.
Those pinning it all on injuries and bad reffing are missing what is all but undeniable at this point. To me, kinda like those that denied all the risks and downside of Indy until it was impossible to overlook and fix by applying exposure lipstick to that piggy. I know, it's not all bad, but it's far from good, and attendance is starting to reflect that.
