Not my point at all. Basketball has issues too. Making the tourney is not
a huge accomplishment. Getting beyond the round of 32 makes a splash in my mind. Getting into the pool of 64 teams is not a high bar to reach. Football is annually above 64th best in country. Again, not a high bar. Comparing the two makes no sense at all. Much different dynamics at work in football vs basketball.
Do not get me wrong. I dig Rose. He is an awesome coach. He is not without flaw. Nor are his teams immune from let downs in games they have no business losing, especially at home.
