We can tell he's there to coach basketball and win games not...
Well you know. His style is we're going to run you off the court, no mercy. You get the idea he's just one of us who wants to win. When he loses we know it's not because they skipped days of practice or because a half their time and focus is spent on something else.
I honestly think that's part of it. He doesn't give us as much to criticize. And then of course, yes people care about football more intensely which only exacerbates the issue.
