Multiple times Bronco has made comments that are - if we're very generous - confusing to the point that people have to defend, re-construe, or otherwise explain them away. If we're being realistic they're at least casually disdainful.

Dave Rose has never done that, and is very publicly personable and charismatic.

And you're really confused about why one is more popular than the other?

p.s. JG Askar was the D-News reporter who covered the "Pharisee" fireside. I knew him personally back when I was in that line of work. Nobody was laughing when Bronco said it - including the speaker.
