the Bronco/Rose dynamic reminds me of the Malone/Stockton one. Malone was much more outspoken yet did a LOT more for the Jazz fan base in public. He was both loved and hated by various groups whereas Stockton did his job and kept to himself mostly. He was almost universally loved despite doing relatively nothing for the public.
