I've never lived in Utah but have been die hard since maybe 1 year prior to the Ty-sman 1990 year. I purchase season tix and travel to multiple road football and bball games (didnt buy football this year due to work circumstance but mostly poor home schedule) - If i'm going to travel to games I'd rather travel to the interesting ones.

I just would like to say as an outside Utah guy, I agree with your post completely... I like both Rose & Mendenhall equally but as far as who seems more engaged with the fans... why tip toe around the subject there is zero question that Bronco appears on TV more with fans and things of that nature than coach Rose. I love Rose, but there really isn't a comparison. But who really cares... Nick Saben can give fans the middle finger and win championships and they'll still worship him. As a fan I don't need coddled...I need W's and someone who gives BYU a great image for what we believe in and although I'd like championships both coaches couldn't do the latter any better so I'm not complaining. We get more than what we pay for!!! And isnt that the Utah Mormon Standard?
