I would rather live with the regret of killing an intruder than live with the
regret of an intruder killing a family member when I could have prevented it.
If you break into a residence the assumption is you intend harm. I have every right to end that threat. Why should I give the benefit of the doubt to an intruder when there is even the smallest amount of potential risk to myself and my family?
