That's like saying shareholders can't judge whether a CEO is doing a good job
"for a "fan" to assume they have enough info to draw the firm conclusions being drawn seems silly."
You can look at the product and make a pretty reasonable judgment about whether a coach, or a CEO, is doing his job well.
