so the question is "why"? and it ALWAYS comes back to coaches, not players.

#1 - is it a player/personnel problem? coaches are responsible for recruiting. they can't say "hey, i've got the wrong guys"...not after 10+ years. these are bronco's guys. he recruited them. if they are the wrong players that is on him and his coaches.

#2 - is it a player development problem? that is also on the coaches. who is responsible for player development? COACHES. that is their freaking job.

#3 - are the players so unmotivated they don't want to improve and get better? (see point #1) coaches picked them...if they are this bad at picking the right guys they stink at their job and after 10 years should be done.

#4 - is it injuries to other players? possibly...legit excuse but again, if your backups are so inept and incompetent you might want to look at points 1 and 2 again and again...it comes back to coaches. it always does.
