According to folks in the OSU AD's office, it was a major sticking point not

only for them, but for TBoone. AD's didn't want to schedule around it (particularly in baseball) and TBoone didn't like that BYU would be getting special treatment for joining the B12 (an honor in itself). We can talk about what was said publicly all day, but that isn't what OSU is saying in private.
