that matters... and yes, at the end of the day, W/L is the ultimate... but there are so many factors that prove that this program is a mess right now... and the fans are starting to react to it.

I always hated arguing with people on my mission about scripture stuff because they would never look deeper in the scriptures that they were taking literally... but then I'd offer up a scripture that could be taking literally and they would spin it and twist it to fit their own ideas... that's how you are playing it.

Sure we have won 6 games... awesome. 4 of those games came with a pretty awesome QB, in my opinion the best QB in the country. But even in those wins, there were problems... bit problems... and these problems started clear back when Bronco decided to give the defense over to a guy that shouldn't even be near the sideline unless he has a paid for ticket to get into the game.

Bronco says he wants elite football, but then makes D-III type decisions with his staff.... which then has the effect for the rest of the season... and it's always why we are on a wobble from the first game to the last... we look good one game, and terrible the next, and then sloppy, undisciplined, unprepared, unmotivated at times... lacking leadership. Sure we'll beat the Middle Tennessee... but who cares after you just lose on your home field to USU and UNR, and then get curb stomped my Boise freaking State.

Bronco is not developing players well at all right now... when Bronco took the program over, we had 20+ former players in the NFL, which he bragged about us being 2nd only behind Western powers USC. Now, USU has as many players in the NFL maybe more... and BYU has one of the lowest number of players in the NFL since pre-Lavell days. Sorry, that's coaching.

I don't want to hear anymore comparisons to Lavell, because Bronco doesn't hold a candle to it. And I don't want our next coach to barely achieve 1/10th of what Lavell did... I want someone that can take the program to the next step or at least keep up with the football of today. Bronco is what he is, 10 years is enough proof of what he'll ever be. Our program today is living off the past... we don't have anything current to hang our hat on, and that's a problem, and it's only getting worse now when we can't even compete against our rivals. 3-6 is a pretty big deal.
