1) That horse has been to death and kicked and spit on and then rehashed again, to the point there is nothing more than can be said about it that hasn't already been said hundreds of times, and it's become the "go to" response when a Bronco defender has nothing else to say and no defense left. Even the whole undertone of the question reeks of mediocrity "we can't fire bronco, we should keep a mediocre coach because we're afraid of what's out there or that we can't find someone better, so lets just stick with what we've got".

2) No, it's actually not a valid question. The idea that Bronco is some kind of super human that no other merely mortal man could coach the BYU football team is ridiculous. REALLY? No other merely mortal man could possibly coach BYU to FOUR losses in a row to Utah? One of them being, what, 54-10, at HOME? How about 3-6 in state the last few years? Seriously what are fans like you afraid of? That someone might do worse than that?? The fans aren't the one's that are going to do the research for a new hire and interview candidates. There's something called an athletic director that does that.

Also, where was Bronco on your radar when he got hired? He came out of no where because the athletic director did his job and found a coach.
