I was less disappointed in the penalties than in the coaching reaction to them.

And I'm no coach criticizer. I also understand about the desire to play with intensity and fire in the gut, but the undisciplined garbage that resulted in multiple personal fouls should have been quashed by the coaching staff from day one, not winked at or encouraged.
