Remember, at that time teams that were jumping conferences

were being hit with huge exit penalties if they were to just leave. We have no idea if it would have been better and we could not have known that at the time. We also don't know how close we were to an invite, only that we were in the media conversations. So many unknowns that are now known a bit better and easy to point out now that we are years down the road from it.
