The instate comparison with Utah is only amplifying that decision four years ago
They have had challenges since entering the PAC 12, 7 OC's in the last seven years, coaching turnover and turmoil, etc., but they seem to be moving forward and building on something. BYU is stuck in neutral and has been since 2009.
Add TCU to the mix and what many of us thought were peers in the MWC have now take the next step with their programs. They both have beaten BYU regularly the last few times they played and are now in P5 leagues. As a BYU fan you can't help but feel like they have separated from BYU.
The frustration for many fans is that BYU is not making that same type of progress when there is every reason to believe they can.
