friends all did. She had a 4.0. They didn't. But she only scored a 24 ACT. Took it 3 times. Did all the extracurricular, sevice etc. I challenge anyone to find a more avid BYU fan that's a 17 yr old girl. She has a piece of notebook paper with KVN's autograph taped to her bedroom wall, along with various BYU team posters. She is just devastated. We've attended many a football, basketball, soccer, and volleyball game over the years together (live in Springville). She even took early morning seminary for 3 semesters so she could take more classes. Sigh. It's been a dark, dark day today. She is determined to still live in BYU off campus housing with her friends and own a guest sports pass. She has a scholarship to UVU so will be going there instead:(

Thanks for letting me vent. It's been a long day.....
I suppose it's my fault for raising her this way. But what else is a mother to do?
