He attended summer term as a visiting student before his mission. Then reapplied after his mission. Still did not get in. So, he again attended as a visiting student spring/summer. In the interim, he was attending BYU-I. Then, last fall, he applied a third time to BYU. This time, he was accepted and is now at BYU.

Just sayin', there is more than one way to get into BYU. Don't lose hope. It was our youngest son's lifetime dream to attend BYU. He was pretty bummed when his friends and cousins got in and he did not make it. He persevered, stuck with it, and things have worked out for him. Your daughter has a higher GPA and ACT than my youngest son. I have to believe she can get in with a little extra effort.
