I see both sides here. If I'm going 80 and you're wanting to go 90, I'll

look for the first opportunity to change lanes where I don't have to slow way down and then get stuck in the next lane over. If the cars in the next lane are going 65 and I get over for you, I have to slow way down and then a bunch of cars come up from behind and move to the left, leaving me stuck going 65 for 5 minutes. In that scenario, you can wait one minute until I get a decent place to change lanes.
