I fail to see how it's stupid to avoid sub-limit traffic and poor road surfaces
by remaining in the left lane and going the speed limit. As far as flow goes, as long as I'm going the speed limit, what flow concern is there? The flow is only supposed to be going the speed limit, unless aid cars are involved. Anyone behind me is therefore perfectly capable of sustaining the ideal flow of traffic.

If someone wants to break the law and speed, they need to assume the risk and liability for it. Not yielding the left lane to a speeder doesn't cause more accidents, SPEEDERS CAUSE MORE ACCIDENTS.
