up a new phone with Android. Just a couple weeks ago, Google sent me a refurbished Nexus 5 to replace my old one which I had cracked the screen on. It couldn't have been easier. Just plug in my gmail address and password and I was good to go. It even restores all the old apps if I want it to. This was on Kitkat 4.4 and on 5.0+ its even easier.
