If you are ok learning something new then the switch will be fine.
You will need to give it a chance though. There is a learning curve but once you get used to where to find everything you will be fine. I have been with android for a few years now and I am still finding new customizations that I like. I have had my current phone for a year and I just switched things up. It sorta feels like having a new phone.

I have a Droid Maxx which is like an older version of the Droid Turbo. The great thing about the Turbo is the battery life, active notifications, and almost stock android which I like. The camera is ok but not as nice as the Note4. The samsung devices have the best camera so if that is important to you then go with the S6 or Note4 (Note4 has larger screen and better battery than S6). If you are ok with a good camera but not the best then I think the Droid Turbo has the better experience. Honestly, I think you would like any of the 3 I mentioned above. HTC and LG have great phones too.

If I had to choose it would be either the Note4 or the Turbo.

The biggest thing holding me back from going with an iPhone now is how many apple programs are restricted to apple products. If I invest in iTunes I want to use it on android based phones too. Google makes its music app available for both iphones and android phones. This is just one example.

I love the choices that I have within the android system. I can change from Samsung to Motorola and back again without any problems. It is even simple to switch to iphones if I wanted. But the moment I go with an iPhone my choices are restricted to the few types of phones they offer. They still have great products but just not enough flexibility for me.

In the end who knows what my next phone will be. My next upgrade date is February 2016. For all I know I will go with the latest iPhone in contradiction to everything I said before. Good luck with your choice.
