Maybe not as athletic as some but for my money he and Andrew Rich were the best safety tandem in recent memory. I only leave it at that because I'm too young to have watched the teams in the 80's with my own eyes.

They were perfectly paired and trusted each other and the defense which allowed then to be amazing playmakers. It's not like that was the best class of LBs either. But everybody played within their position and did their job.
