Want to enjoy the bike and be able to go on hourish rides most mornings. Don't need anything flashy, but I do want to get something of quality and value. I don't want to kick myself and say- snag! If I spent $120 more I'd like my bike a heck of a lot more right now!! Hah.

I'll be happy with the stock parts for now. Then, if I fall in the rabbit hole then I'm totally happy spending more money on it in the future once I have proven that I will get my money's worth so to speak. (Plus the wifey won't want me to spend a ton until I've proven that I will use it which I agree with)
