I think every coach struggles with how to use talented players who don't
know how to do their jobs yet.
I think Bronco errs too much on the side of position mastery and not enough on the side of athleticism. If you have a guy who is a 0 at position mastery and a 10 on the athleticism scale, obviously you can't use him much. Maybe kickoffs.
But what about if you have two guys, one who is a 7 athlete and a 10 position mastery, the other who is a 10 athlete and a 7 position mastery? Bronco plays the guy who has better mastery. I'm not sure that's what most coaches do.
