four-year starters in three DL positions. Guys who knew their positions, and who had performed at a high level for BYU for years. With DL being primarily a block-eating position in the 3-4.

I think it was smart to teach him the OLB, and I don't think you can anticipate how well he played at DL. When he'd only ever played football for two years.
