Eathyn Manumaleuna started every game as a freshman and had the game winning block against UCLA. He started every game his sophomore and junior seasons until his injury. Yes, Ziggy was a freak athlete, but I didn't hear anyone at that time suggest that he should be starting ahead of Manumaleuna. Perhaps we can fault BM for not finding a way to get them both on the field at the same time, but Manu definitely deserved his starting spot. Had he not been injured that Jr. year he likely would have been a high-rough draft pick and be playing in the NFL today. As it was the rest of his BYU career was injury laden but he still signed at UDFA contract with the New England Patriots.
