It was the 2 coaches that had the most work because of the situations that were handed to them and they made the most of it. That would be Beck and Atuaia. There positions shined in light of the injuries sustained there... they deserve all the credit in the world for it.
I agree with most of what you said, I'm still not overly sold on Poppinga, although it does sound like he is a good recruiter. Howell is the weakest coach on the staff and he is coaching the most skilled position on the team. I still don't know if Anae would be an OC outside of BYU though. Maybe at some place like Utah he would... but that's only because Whitt likes to bring anything and everything BYU to his sidelines.
