And I agree that BYU giving him a shot played a huge roll in him getting a shot. No amount of training without playing was going to get him anything.

But I took Hague's tweet as a reply to someone saying that BYU's new strength and conditioning guy was already paying off - and he was saying it wasn't BYU's strength and conditioning guy who Povey was working out with. It was JP.

So perhaps how it was worded or how that correction was made could've been better stated. But I don't think Hague's intent was EVER to say - "Hey - Povey gets a shot at the NFL because he worked out with JP and it has nothing to do with actually playing the game at BYU!"
